What is your background in design?
I started designing homes in 2021 and have completed dozens of personalized home designs, for primary residences as well as second homes and vacation properties. I have completed 6 full home renovations with full oversight of the design and construction.
Can you design my primary home or just a one or two rooms?
At this I only offer design services for short term rentals/ vacation homes. My focus is on products and materials designed for these types of high use spaces. To create a cohesive design, it is important you look at the entire space, rather than one room at a time.
What if I don’t like the design or products chosen for me?
My goal is to make sure you are satisfied, and my promise to you is to create a design that is thoughtful and beautiful. Before we even start, I will thoroughly assess the needs and wants of each client so I can provide a proposal that is exactly what you are looking for, specifying the design style, aesthetic and color palette. If you choose to move forward, each design comes with free edits for a 2 week period, you can have me make as many changes as you want until the design is perfect.
Am I committed to purchasing the products you recommend?
No. You will receive links to each product that will take you directly to the website where the item can be purchased, but it is up to you if you purchase the item or not.
Do you complete the project work/construction?
I do not complete project work. Once you have your design, you can choose how you want to move forward with implementation, either DIY or hiring a contractor.
How do you come up with a design style?
First and most important, I ensure that my design style aligns with the client during the consultation. I focus on 6 specific design styles: Farmhouse, Modern, Rustic, Industrial, Bohemian and Traditional. Most designs are a combination of elements from 2 or 3 styles, based on the client consultation. Your personalized design plan will include a unique style concept, decor aesthetic, and color palette. Some of my past projects have been: rustic cabin charm, minimalistic modern with farmhouse character, cozy retreat with boho and rustic vibes, modern farmhouse with rustic elements.
