Hi, I’m Hannah!
I live in a small mountain town near Lake Tahoe, CA with my husband and 3 kids. We love it here! I never thought I’d end up in the mountains. I moved to our resort town thinking I would spend one summer here, and here I am 17 years later. I worked in Human Resources for years, but once we had kids I decided to leave the corporate life to become a stay at home mom. And it was then I discovered my passion for home and design.
For 8 years, my husband and I renovated our first house, a small mountain home on Surry Place. We spent weekend after weekend doing renovation projects (and almost killing each other haha) and throughout the process I discovered my love for home design. We sold that home but the legacy will live on as the name of our business, Surry Place.
Surry Place was established in 2019. What started out as a hobby sharing pictures on Instagram turned into a full-time business. My husband and I manage an Interior Design business, content creation and short-term rental management. It is A LOT.
A few years ago, I would have never imagined I would be able to run a business doing something I love. I hope my passion shows in everything I do. Thank you so much for being here!
